Mystery Weekend

Bryce, Wolfie and Lexi joined me for a weekend of Mystery. We hit The Mystery Spot and the Winchester Mystery House. The Mystery Spot seemed to be the hands-down favorite. You can see in the photos here that you get a wierd gravity thing going on in the Mystery Spot and can stand on the corner of a table and hang out over the floor without falling. (Of course you have to be there to really see how weird it is!) You just cant explain the unexplainable. In the picture where they are all looking at a pool ball, the ball actually rolls UP the board! Weird!!



















Here are the kids at the Winchester Mystery House on an unusual staircase. Mrs. Winchester was only 4'10" so many of the doors and entryways were shorter than normal.

Area 51? Bomb Shelter?

Is this Area 51? No, it is my friend Doug's garage. He gave Janis and me a tour of his new house which is Spanish style and very nice.
How many people have this much room in their garage??

Let Them Eat Cake

I had the best cupcakes this last weekend ...made by my niece Lexi-Lu. As you can see here she did a great job baking, decorating and.....eating the cupcakes!

Jiiiissshhhhhhh!

I dont know how many of you have seen this movie, especially if you are over the age of 15, but I watched it with my sister Karen and nephew Bryce this weekend and it was pretty funny--it is the Blair Thumb movie. Yes, thats right, it is a bunch of thumbs acting out the Blair Thumb Project. And it is totally rated G--"Oh spit man, Oh spit "! Enjoy!

I think this picture says it all. It is pretty much the reaction I get now that I have my new digital camera! Im sure it is especially annoying since I am still trying to figure out all of the features and buttons and make people retake pics etc...

Pool Party Prep

The mad scientist, Rubin Kincaid, is mixing the chemicals for the weekends pool party. There were a lot of kids there so I'm sure he added in a little extra for good measure! Great job keeping the pool in order Rob! Rob and Steph pulled off another super fun day!

Night of the Iguana

Wolfie has been dying to get a gecko. Here you can see the tank but you may not be able to see the gecko since it is a camouflage, invisible gecko. They're a little harder to take care of when you cant see them but you cant see their poop either so it balances out! Don't even ask me what "cricket loading" is!

Does My Butt Look Big?

Okay, so I am trying to do the South Beach Diet. It is killer since you cant have any starches or sugar or fruit for the first two weeks! I miss my 3pm mocha!! Today I figured out that I might be able to have the no fat/no sugar gummi bears. Now I have a belly ache! I dont recommend eating too many at one time.

But.....I just saw this feature on the HP site. I may not have to diet at all! Their digital cameras come with a new "slimming" feature that takes the weight right off. Too bad it can't take it off the actual human! Now that would be a feature!
