Alexis Is Warhol-ized

Here is my niece Alexis in multi-color. Her mom got a Mac that has the Warholizer in it. (That's not what it's called but it sounds more fun that way!)

Chicano Visions

I went to a great exhibit this weekend at the DeYoung Museum in SF. My friend Ann's sister-in-law, Michelle Ramirez, had one of her pieces selected for a Chicano Visions exhibition. How cool is that?! Her art is really amazing. The girl is a blackbelt too! Way to go Michelle! Here is the link to check it out: http://www.thinker.org/deyoung/exhibitions/exhibition.asp?exhibitionkey=551

Michelle's piece is the one on the right.

Claire, Remy, and Ann Troussieux enjoying the show.

This is the artist, Michelle.

Mojito Madness & TGIF

I went to "Stretch Hamilton" and "Pumpkin Canyon's" porn pad tonight for some mojitos and grilling. Nothing is simulated at their house!

Spare the Air...and the Art

Today was a beautiful day in S.F.. The temperatures have been perfect all week. It was Spare the Air day so I took BART into work and went down to the Embarcadero at lunch. This sculpture made of steel and chains was recently set up on the waterfront. Tell me, what does this piece have to do with SF??? It looks like Attack of the Pod People or something. They should have had a Spare the Art day!

Girls Just Want to Have Fun

I was hijacked and taken to Town for a few drinks with the ladies Tuesday -- Andi, Nancy and Beth. Here's to good chardonnay, good food and fun friends.
Look at how shy Nancy looks in this picture. It must be her alter ego!

Papusas and Paparazzi

My co-workers Breanna and Marya love to be photographed. Here they are trying to ditch the paparazzi on BART on the way to Mission Street for some papusas.

Donny-ness and his Seven Kinds of Smoke

My nephew Donny came for a visit last weekend. He drove himself to the Ferry and commuted over to the city to meet me. My little baby is growing up! We went to Half Moon Bay to hang at the beach so he could do some skim-boarding. We also went to see a Giants game. The weather was beautiful and we got to see Barry make a homer and totally miss a ball to strike out. Whats that all about?? We also saw "You, Me and Dupree". It was pretty funny--good start, weak finish.

Happy Birthday Jim!

We celebrated my friend Jim's birthday last night. He is a July 4th baby. It was great meeting all his friends. He had a co-worker from Redbull in Austria and her boyfriend visiting (see picture) and there was the running group (Chris is the shy one as you can see in this picture. Ulli had great food including a ton of Austrian style breads and desserts...YUM! I had more pictures but the rest didnt survive since we thought we were lowering the size of the images so I could fit more on the camera but we were really deleting the photos. These are the only two that survived. Sorry Jim!

Flora and Dora

My friends Laura and Doug (and Clare and Kate) came to visit from D.C. We had a nice time catching up at a restaurant on Belden Lane in the city. Then we went to the Tonga Room for some very expensive drinks...Doug LOVED it. (Isnt that right Doug?) It was good to see you guys! They were able to miss all of the flooding going on back East.

Move back to CA!!
