Give Me All Your Money Or...Count Dooku Gets It!

Here is this weeks take. Every time my nephews or niece ride in my car, they leave something behind. Shocking right?! This time I scored one Sponge Bob watch, some Yu-Gi-Oh cards, a Scooby Doo disc and a Count Dooku. Do I even know what I'm talking about here??

Alright Bryce...what is Count Dooku worth to you??!!

Monkey Business

I have heard mixed reviews on King Kong. One pair liked it, the other said "don't waste your time". Any other comments? I haven't seen it yet but I don't think I can get into the idea of a giant gorilla wandering around NY in search of his true love...hey wait,...that sounds kind of like Sex And The City!

The Meaning of Christmas

It's always nice to remind ourselves what Christmas is really about. It is very easy to get swept away in the hustle and bustle of shopping, parties, and schedules and forget what we are celebrating. I like to watch the Charlie Brown Christmas special every year especially to see the part where Linus gives his speech.

"And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. "

Sweet 16

My nephew Donny just turned 16. Ouch!! Here are just a few of the hairdos that he has sported over the years...

"Magnum"

I think these girls have a future in modeling. How many people could pull off "Magnum" like this!? Beth and Claire, you're hired!

Brokeback Mountain Review

I saw Brokeback Mountain. The movie was touching and very beautifully shot but there was a little something missing. It never quite hit the mark emotionally. It's as if scenes were left out that would help the viewer feel them grow closer. Still worth seeing but dont go expecting to be blown away.
