I love going to Napa to visit my friends the Troussieuxs. It is my vacation home away from home! They are the hosts with the most! Chris even gave me a row in his wine cellar and keeps me posted on when my wine is about to go bad! Thanks C!

Here is a theoretical question....why, just as we are starting to appreciate wine, do we start being able to tolerate less and less of it? Just putting it out there!

This weekend Ann's friend Tami was in town and we all crashed a tasting Chris was doing at Venge for some friends of theirs. Great tour and great wine!

Bullards Bar

Okay, I havent been posting too much lately so a lot of stuff has been piling up!
Here are some pictures from a camping trip to Bullards Bar with my friends Greg and Beth.
Aside from the absence of bathrooms, midnight naked wakeboarding, and all of the burping , it was a fun time. Great group of people! A big THANKS to Rick for setting me up with spectacular living conditions!

Grey Gardens

When I went to NY I saw a play called Grey Gardens about Jackie O's Aunt and cousin who became eccentrics living in their run-down mansion. The cousin always had a something around her head. I saw a picture of Britney the other day and it totally reminded me of the eccentric cousin. Coincidence???

Return of the Secaucus 7

One of my favorite movies of all time is The Big Chill. I still love it to this day. The other day I found out that there was another movie that inspired it. I had no idea! I rented the Return of the Secaucus 7 the other day. It is very similar but definitely low budget. But you can see the similarities. If you like The Big Chill, check out this movie just for kicks but dont expect an Academy Award winner!

Even More Mortified!

Earlier in my blog I mentioned a site called getmortified.com. People submit pictures and writings from their awkward years.

Last night I went to SF where they do readings at a bar called Makeout Room. On a side note, drinks there are super strong and only $3!) I havent laughed that hard in a long time! They pre-pick people to read their writings, based on how entertaining they are I expect. By the end of the night I was crying because I was laughing so much.

Cyndi, Im sure you must have some old journals or something from high school! How else could you remember so much from that era???

It is well worth the trek to the city to see!

New York, New York

Just spent the weekend in New York with my college pals. We had a blast! Went to a play, Tavern on the Green, saw Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Little Italy, Central Park, "Night at the Museum" AMNH, and so much more! I even left my mark...I accidentally stepped in wet cement on one of the sidewalks in Chelsea and left a big impression! Very funny. To see all of the fun check out my Flicker photos!

Can it be true? Now my favorite drink is good for me too! Why am I just finding out about this? Coca Cola Company has started making Diet Coke with vitamens. "In addition to providing great, refreshing taste, Diet Coke Plus is a good source of vitamins B3, B6, and B12, and the minerals zinc and magnesium." Who could ask for more?

Okay, when Steph put up her vintage pics of she and Rob and she mentioned his short shorts, all I cold think of was.....Ive seen shorter! Here is Rubin Kincaid in the early eighties. It must have been his tennis phase cause those are some short tennis shorts!

Okay, I dont know why but I cant help it. I keep comparing two photos. Maybe its an illness! There are just too many similar freaky things in this world! This is no exception. In Stephs blog she told us to check out a photographers blog (which of course I did). This photo totally reminded me of Seinfeld so I had to display it!
